Off-page SEO & GEO Specialist

Based in: the Philippines, Indonesia or Malaysia. Working hours overlap with Singapore (GMT+8).

You'll own off-page work across our SEO and GEO clients: the links, mentions, listings and reviews that decide whether Google ranks a brand and whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews cite it. You'll find the sources AI answers already quote for each client's topics, then earn a place in them through outreach, digital PR and genuine community work. You report to our SEO & GEO Lead.

What you'll do

• Analyse backlink profiles and competitor link gaps, and plan each client's link building
• Find the pages AI answers cite for a client's topics, and win a place on them
• Pitch editors, bloggers and journalists, and answer journalist requests (Qwoted, Featured and similar)
• Get clients onto the 'best X in Y' and comparison pages that AI answers quote
• Manage Google Business Profiles, Tripadvisor and industry directories: accurate details in every market
• Take part in Reddit, Quora and forums as a disclosed company voice, following each community's rules
• Run review programmes on Google, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot and G2, and draft replies to reviews
• Reclaim unlinked brand mentions and replace broken links with client pages
• Audit toxic links and prepare disavow files when they're needed
• Report links won and new AI citations for each client every month

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in off-page SEO, link building or digital PR, for an agency or in-house
• A record of editorial links you earned yourself, with examples you can show
• Hands-on experience with Google Business Profile and Tripadvisor listings
• You understand how AI answers choose their sources, and can find a citation gap
• Persuasive written English; a second language (Bahasa, Chinese or Spanish) is a plus
• No paid links, private blog networks, fake reviews or sockpuppet accounts. We'll ask how you avoid them
