How much do Facebook and Instagram ads cost in Singapore?

Meta doesn't publish a price list. You set a budget, and Meta charges what the auction sets for each view, click or result. So the only honest answer comes from real accounts. These are ours: every campaign we ran for Singapore audiences from 1 January 2025 to 25 October 2026.

Campaign type What you pay for Typical cost (median) Range across advertisers Based on
Reach and engagement 1,000 views (CPM) S$6.36 S$1.21 to S$13.30 6 advertisers, 22 campaigns, 11.6 million views, S$25,310
Traffic 1 link click (CPC) S$0.36 S$0.10 to S$0.49 5 advertisers, 13 campaigns, 77,265 clicks, S$28,063
Chat (WhatsApp, Messenger) 1 conversation started S$17.77 S$5.79 to S$34.61 6 advertisers, 21 campaigns, 4,674 chats, S$61,365
Form lead 1 lead S$39.83 S$17.71 to S$79.83 6 advertisers, 39 campaigns, 3,037 leads, S$72,350
Purchase or paid booking 1 purchase S$50.03 S$9.56 to S$446.33 5 advertisers, 71 campaigns, 1,797 purchases, S$114,533

Each figure is the median of each advertiser's own cost, so one large account can't skew it. Each cost comes only from campaigns built for that result: cost per chat from chat campaigns, cost per lead from lead campaigns. Form leads leave out one free-sample offer that cost S$0.81 a request, because a free sample isn't a lead.

The advertisers were in healthcare, senior care, beauty, education, retail and property. No client is named, and no figure lets you work back to one client's spend. We don't split the table by industry: with 11 advertisers across six industries, most industries have one or two, too few for a median that means anything or that keeps the client anonymous. If an industry table elsewhere gives no count of accounts behind each row, treat it as an estimate.

What does 1,000 views (CPM) cost on Meta in Singapore?

The median was S$6.36 per 1,000 views on reach and engagement campaigns, from S$1.21 to S$13.30. Across all their spend, reach campaigns paid S$2.18 per 1,000 views, but only 0.13% of viewers clicked. A low CPM buys attention, not customers. Use it for awareness, not to judge whether Meta "works".

What does a click cost on Facebook and Instagram?

The median was S$0.36 per link click on traffic campaigns, from S$0.10 to S$0.49, with 1.52% of viewers clicking. Clicks are cheap because Meta finds people likely to click, who aren't always people likely to buy. A traffic campaign is worth running only if your page turns visitors into enquiries.

What does a Meta lead cost in Singapore, and what is a good cost per lead?

The median was S$39.83 per form lead, from S$17.71 to S$79.83. A good cost per lead is one your sales can afford: if one in five leads becomes a S$1,000 customer, you can pay up to S$200 a lead and break even. Judge leads by how many become customers, not by price.

What do WhatsApp ads cost? Chat or lead form?

The median was S$17.77 per chat started in WhatsApp or Messenger, from S$5.79 to S$34.61. Five advertisers ran chat and form campaigns in the same period, and a chat cost less for all five: between 16% and 80% less, a median S$19.88 per chat against S$41.09 per form lead.

Chat (WhatsApp, Messenger) S$19.88 Form lead S$41.09
Median cost per conversation for the 5 advertisers that ran both, Singapore-targeted Meta campaigns, 1 January 2025 to 25 October 2026. Chat was cheaper for 5 of 5, by 16% to 80%.

Two caveats. This is cost per conversation, not cost per customer. And a chat is only worth it if someone replies within minutes. Where your team can reply that fast, start with chat; where it can't, a form with instant follow-up is safer.

How much do Meta ads cost for online stores?

The median was S$50.03 per purchase, from S$9.56 to S$446.33, across five advertisers selling online or taking paid bookings. The median store got back 2.95 times its ad spend in purchase value, from 0.88 times to 12.51 times. The spread comes mostly from price and margin: a S$40 product and a S$2,000 treatment can't share a target.

Why do some Meta campaigns cost so much more per view?

Because you pay for who Meta shows the ad to. Chat campaigns paid S$22.10 per 1,000 views and lead campaigns S$28.67, against S$2.18 on reach, but chat ads got 0.94% of viewers to click, more than seven times the reach rate. Meta charges more to reach people likely to act, so compare cost per result, never CPM across objectives.

Are Instagram ads more expensive than Facebook ads?

Our figures don't split Facebook from Instagram, because we run both from one campaign and let Meta place the ad where it gets results most cheaply. Comparing the two placements inside a campaign tells you where Meta found results, not that one platform is cheaper. If you want Instagram only, expect fewer results for the same budget, since you've removed placements.

How much does it cost to promote a post on Instagram?

A boosted post is a simple ad: you pick a budget and duration, and Meta charges through the same auction as any other ad. What you get depends on the goal you pick for the boost, so judge it by the matching row above: a boost for engagement costs like the reach row, not like a lead. For enquiries or sales, run a campaign in Ads Manager with that objective.

How much should a small business spend on Meta ads per month?

At the medians above, S$3,000 a month buys roughly 169 chats, 78 form leads or 60 purchases. That's also the minimum we work with: below it, an account rarely gets enough results each week for Meta to learn which buyers to find. Spend per day is your monthly budget divided by about 30, so S$3,000 is about S$100 a day.

Is GST charged on Meta ads in Singapore?

Yes, unless you give Meta a GST registration number. Meta's help centre says that since 1 January 2020, if your ad account's "Sold To" address is in Singapore and you haven't added a GST registration number, it adds GST at the local rate to the cost of your ads (Meta Business Help Center). Singapore's GST rate is 9% (IRAS). So a S$3,000 budget costs S$3,270 if no GST number is on the account.

GST-registered businesses add their number to the ad account so GST isn't charged; some may then have to account for it themselves through reverse charge (IRAS). Ask your accountant which applies to you.

Are Facebook and Instagram ads worth it in Singapore?

They're worth it when the result you buy is worth more than it costs. Whether a S$17.77 chat or a S$39.83 lead pays depends on what one customer is worth to you. Work out your break-even cost per result before you start.

What makes Meta ads cost less?

In our accounts, three things moved cost per result more than any targeting setting:

  1. New, genuinely different ads every week. Meta picks the audience largely from the ad itself, so ten versions of one idea count as one. Our 2026 Meta ads guide explains why.
  2. The right objective. Chat over forms where someone can reply fast, as above.
  3. Sending back who bought. If Meta learns which chats and leads became customers, it finds more of them. That needs the Conversions API and your CRM connected.

That's the work our Facebook and Instagram ads agency does every week: concepts, objectives and tracking, measured in enquiries and sales.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Facebook ads cost per day in Singapore?

There's no fixed price; you choose the daily budget and Meta charges through an auction. At the medians across our 166 campaigns, S$100 a day (about S$3,000 a month) bought roughly 5 to 6 chats, 2 to 3 form leads or 2 purchases a day. Your costs depend on your offer, page and ads.

What is the average CPM for Meta ads in Singapore?

Across our Singapore-targeted campaigns from January 2025 to October 2026, the median advertiser paid S$6.36 per 1,000 views on reach campaigns. Campaigns aimed at chats or leads paid S$22 to S$29 per 1,000 views, because Meta shows them to people more likely to act. Compare cost per result, not CPM.

What is a good cost per lead on Facebook in Singapore?

Our median was S$39.83 per form lead and S$17.77 per chat. A good cost per lead is whatever your close rate and customer value can carry: divide what a customer is worth by how many leads it takes to win one. That's your ceiling.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

No. Our fee is fixed by tier, set by the ad spend we manage, and Meta bills the ad spend to you directly. Essentials starts at S$2,000 a month for S$3,000 to S$10,000 of ad spend on one platform. Full prices are on our pricing page.
